New Items! :)

Well it has been awhile since I updated this, but I have a good reason! I have been a very busy girl knitting!

After I opened my facebook page (you can find it under KayLit's Knits) I had some orders, yay! And then I decided to tackle some of the patterns in my ever growing pile of things that I would like to make!

So... first off here is my new burp cloth. The Baby Genius cloth. This one is done in John Deere colors. It can be done in any 2 colors, a solid color, or one of the variety colors that I have done other baby burp cloths in.  (see previous posts or fb page for those).
I also adapted the pattern to a baby washcloth!

I also did a new dishcloth. A ballband dishcloth.

And last but def not least, my new favorite! A Cozy!!!!

It is made to fit a can, since it stretches it does fit on a cup as well. However on the bottle it is a little lose. So if you order one and would be using it for just a bottle I can tighten it up a bit. But please specify that you want that done, otherwise it won't be!

To order any of the above items just add me on facebook: KayLit's Knits!

Cowls, Cowls, and more Cowls! :)

So, I finished another Cowl a little while ago and got to thinking.. I had never even heard of a Cowl before a month or so ago.. so maybe other people haven't either. Maybe you aren't to sure how it looks on or the different ways that it can be worn. So I figured I would try and model them for you! :)

This black one is my favorite.. Cowls can be worn just like this...

Or... wrapped around like this!

This is the first one that I made.. it is the same pattern as above!

And this is the one that I finished this morning. It is made of thicker yarn but it's a "slimmer" cowl, while it is very cute the ones above are my faves!

I can certainly do these in any color that you want!

Yay for new patterns! :)

I had kind of slacked off the past few days on my knitting and I am making up for it today--hopefully! :)

I finished one of the burp cloths to match the baby washcloths in my last post.

I seriously LOVE those!!! Anyone looking for a great gift for someone who is expecting this is it!! They are made out of 100% cotton, very durable, can be thrown in the washer and dryer-no special care needed! And they are so adorable!!

I also found a pattern for a "diagonal" dishcloth. I just had to try it out! I finished it up very quickly this morning and I think I may make another one.

Anything that you see can be ordered!

Happy Valentines Day!

Well, I finished my purple Cowl! I wasn't to crazy about how the pattern looks but here it is!

I also started a new set of burp cloths and baby washcloths! These would be perfect for a baby shower gift for someone who is having a little girl! Here are the washcloths, I haven't finished the burp cloths yet.

That is what I worked on over the weekend. Today I am hoping to have the burp cloths done for the above set and then get started on another Cowl. I bought a new set of needles that I need for the next Cowl over the weekend so I'm excited to get it started!

Remember, anything that you want to buy just email me for info! :)

All we need is just a little patience..

I got a wonderful suprise from my husband today! These gorgeous roses for our 5 year wedding anniversary which is tomorrow! :)

I am so very lucky to be married to such an amazing man!

I finished another scarf yesterday. This one is made out of really chunky yarn, it is sure to keep you warm during the cold winter months and the colors are so pretty.

I have now started a new Cowl, this one is a new pattern from the previous two that I had made and it is a lot of fun! It uses slip stitches which is something new for me but I've caught on pretty fast. I am making this one extra long so that it can be wrapped around a few more times. I may just have to keep one of these cowls that I am making for myself! They are so gorgeous and would look great almost any time of the year!

Here is the new Cowl as of today... I started on it pretty late last night so I am only 6 rounds in.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Crafters Comfort Gloves that I ordered last week. While working on the baby washcloths and burpcloths I started having some pain in my right hand and fingers. After some research I found these gloves that help reduce pain while crafting! I can't wait to get them so that I can work on some more burp cloths and washcloths I have some super cute colors that I can't wait to use!

I'll post more on the Cowl the more I get done! :)

Busy Weekend!

After my last blog post I received 3 orders! Yay! I wasn't going to take any until I had some stock done but I was just so excited that people liked my stuff enough that I decided what the heck! So I will be taking a few orders here and there if anyone does see anything that they like don't hesitate to message me about details on ordering!

Here are some pictures of my projects I did this weekend! :)

First Post!

Alrighty, here goes! I'm just going to use this to post pics of what I am working on and ideas that I have. As you can see by the name of the blog I have decided on a name for my site. KayLit's Knits. I am right now working on ideas for what I am going to sell and on getting an inventory of those items built up. When I feel that I have a pretty good amount done I will be opening up a facebook business page to sell my items. I guess you could say this site will be a preview of what is to come on that page! :) Comments and suggestions are always appreciated!

Here are the items that I have finished recently:

This is a baby burp cloth, I am going to work up set of burp cloths with matching baby washcloths.

This is a childs scarf, ribbed with buttons to hold it together so that it doesn't fall off.

This is the adult version. A ribbed scarf with buttons to hold it together. I like the placement of these buttons better, it will hold both sides together.

This is a thin, extra long scarf in kind of a bubble pattern.

This is called a Cowl. This is not the best picture of it, you can't really tell how it looks on. It is really beautiful. I will try to get a picture of it on so that you can see how it is worn. It can be worn just around your neck hanging down. It is just one big circle so you dont have the ends of the scarf hanging down and you do not have to worry about it falling off..

Or it can be worn like this wrapped around your neck.

Multi colored blue scarf with a neat pattern. Looks almost like basket weaving in person. Picture didn't show the pattern well.

Same pattern as above but with different colors!

This is a striped, ribbed scarf. I was looking to do something bright and I love this green!

This is a dishcloth or washcloth in a waffle knit pattern. I will be doing a lot of these in a ton of different colors!

That gets you up to date on what I have done since the holidays!
